Alisha became a personal trainer to share the importance of dieting and exercising with others. In 2006, she was diagnosed with Lupus and kidney disease. At the time, she was a young, single mother pursuing a nursing degree. After making multiple hospital visits, she decided she would take charge of the disease herself.

She then redirected her attention from nursing to nutrition. She started aiming for a well-balanced diet and lots of exercise. By educating herself through research and self-practice, her Lupus has stayed in remission. Alisha’s battle with Lupus has motivated her to share her determination with others. She wants to share how proper exercise and a well-balanced nutrition plan can provide others with a new appreciate for life.
