The HUB Recreation Center and all other city facilities will re-open tomorrow Wednesday, February 17. Please continue to use caution and allow extra travel time as crews will continue working to clear roadways over the next few days.

The HUB Recreation Center and all other public facilities will be closed again tomorrow Tuesday, February 16.

DUE TO IMPENDING WINTER STORM

CITY OF MARION TO CLOSE FACILITIES ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2021

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 14th, 2021 until Tuesday, February 16th at 6 a.m.
Due to anticipated worsening road conditions, sub- zero wind chills, and forecasted snow accumulation, the City of Marion has decided in the best interest and safety of its employees and residents to close all public facilities on Monday, February 15th, 2021. That closure will affect the Marion Senior Citizens Center, Boyton Street Community Center, Marion Carnegie Library, The HUB Recreation Center and City Hall.
 
Over the coming days, the City and its partners will continue to operate the Warming Center at the Marion Training Center located at 211 E. Boulevard Street and are still in need of volunteers. Please contact Cody Moake at 618-997-2612 to sign up to volunteer.
