Information on The HUB Recreation Center | The HUB Recreation Center

The HUB Recreation Center is owned and operated by the City of Marion. We opened our doors in January 2015 and celebrated our official Grand Opening in March 2015. Thousands of guests also utilize the facility each month by purchasing a day pass. Visitors are welcome to stop by any time to take a tour and learn more about what we have to offer.

There are many benefits to becoming a member, also known as a Hubber, of The HUB Recreation Center. The first major benefit is access to our state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor track, gymnasium, three pools, on-site child watch, cafe, youth center and locker rooms. To become a Hubber, registration can be done in-person at the front desk anytime during facility hours. Visitors are also able to enjoy all of our amenities by purchasing a one-time, all-day, all inclusive day pass.

Facility Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday: 4:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Pool Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

First Floor – The HUB Recreation Center

The first floor includes the following: Lounge area, Cafe HUB, gymnasium, competition pool, hot tub, recreational pool featuring a two-story waterslide, lazy river and sprayground area with a smaller waterslide, party rooms, conference room, youth center, men’s locker room, women’s locker room, family locker room and on-site child watch for Hubbers and guests.

There is one elevator and two stairwells located at the front and back of the facility. All members and guests must enter through the front doors facing West Main Street.

Second Floor – The HUB Recreation Center

The second floor includes the following: Three lane running/walking track, three group exercise rooms, free weights, ellipticals, cycle bikes, machine training, treadmills and more.

Head east on Route 13, turn right on Route 37/Court Street and go south, turn right on West Main Street and The HUB will be on your left.

Driving directions from Harrisburg: (22 miles)
Head west on Route 13, turn left on East Main Street, stay on Main Street through the Tower Square Plaza and The HUB will be on your left.

Driving directions from Mt. Vernon: (45 miles)
Merge onto I-57 south toward Memphis, take exit 53 and turn left onto Main Street/Old Route 13 in Marion and The HUB will be on your right.

Driving directions from Cairo/Metropolis: (58/52 miles)
Merge on I-57 north toward Mt. Vernon, take exit 53 and turn left onto Main Street/Old Route 13 in Marion and The HUB will be on your right.
